SiteWhere Completes The BridgeCommunity by Coca-Cola

SiteWhere LLC, an Atlanta-based Internet of Things (IoT) startup, is one of the newest organizations to complete The BridgeCommunity by Coca-Cola.

In its 2nd North American cohort, the BridgeCommunity targeted early-stage or growth-stage FinTech, Engagement/Retail tech, and Internet of Things companies. As one of the 22 startups selected for the BridgeCommunity 2017 program, Sitewhere received tactical, in-depth training from an enterprise perspective including marketing, branding, sales & negotiation, tailored to our individual needs to help accelerate our route to market. The program also provides access to experienced internal and external business mentors. In addition, opportunities are provided for fast-tracked connections into partner corporations with the potential for pilots that could ultimately lead to formal agreements. No equity financial investment is required and startups maintain ownership of their IP.

“Our acceptance and completion of the BridgeCommunity was an amazing opportunity for our company!” said Derek Adams, an Atlanta native, Georgia Tech alumnus, and SiteWhere Founder and Chief Architect.

“The Internet of Things is one of the hottest industries today,” said Todd Peneguy, VP of Strategy and UGA Alumnus.  “Having the support and guidance from the enterprise partners that make up the BridgeCommunity is priceless.  The program is built on the foundation of Southern hospitality, something that Atlanta does best, and we are already reaping huge benefits from our involvement.”
